Update: March 2, 2006 «©NCSX» Back when the Saturn and Playstation lorded over the kingdom, Capcom revisited its library with a 5-volume set called Capcom Generation. Fast forward to another console generation and Capcom gathers together all five volumes into one DVD and throws in 6 additional games as well for a total of 22 self-proclaimed classics. Then there's the bits and bytes of bonus material and artwork tucked on the disc. The encompassing "Classics" term in the title is dubious because NCS never considered EXED Eyes, Vulgus, Trojan, Son Son, and Higemaru classics but your mileage may vary. We're just saying, "Don't bandy the terminology and dilute the value of the word." Of course, there are true classics in the collection including 1943 and Ghosts 'n Goblins and many more. In the arcades, Forgotten Worlds used a rotating paddle controller which allowed for fast and easy rotation to shoot enemies in all directions. Sadly, this experience will never be recreated for the home market no matter how perfect the software emulation is... and it is perfect. The complete listing of software in CCC is as follows: 1942 1943 1943 Kai Top Secret aka Bionic Commando Commando EXED Exes Final Fight Forgotten Worlds Gun.Smoke Ghouls 'n Ghosts Ghosts 'n Goblins Legendary Wings Mercs Pirate Ship Higemaru Section Z Son Son Street Fighter II (Playstation version) Street Fighter II Champion Edition (Playstation version) Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting (Playstation version) Super Ghouls'n Ghosts Trojan Vulgus View the back cover and screenshots on the main NCSX website.
