Update: September 27, 2007
«©NCSX» Gamers hoping for a brand new GOC adventure in "Desire" won't find it. What they will find after plunking down US$65 is a compilation of two Generation of Chaos games that have been upgraded with the tactical battle system found in Generation of Chaos V.

Generation of Chaos (2001)
Step into the world of Neverland and join a pink-haired demon girl named Roze who's out to avenge her younger sister who was killed by human forces. Despite her burning desire to seek vengeance on humans, Roze also has doubts about her bloodlust against an entire race.

Generation of Chaos Next: Lost Bonds (2002)
A knight named Eriru who's next in line to be king and his betrothed Rozzi are joined by Roz's guardian Rifaia in a tactical adventure game where strategic battles are the rage. Neverland is once again the stage for conflicts between demons and humans that ignite into all out war.

» Start a NEW GAME and you'll get to select either the original Generation of Chaos game or Generation of Chaos Next. In GOC, the scene opens up with Roze visiting her younger sister's bedside. Roze's sibling is ill and sleeping sleeping. The scene shifts outdoors where Roze walks along a path and encounters an old guy who leads her along the way to her first event. Roze appears upon the top square of a 4x5 grid and starts off with 3200 HP and 200 SP. Highlight her and then press START to begin a tutorial where movement is taught where Roze moves from starred-platform to star-platform to star-platform on the way to a castle on the lower-left portion of the screen. There's a couple of fights where Roze will face off against insects and a conclusive battle against an enemy with a bad skin condition and two knights and their pet wolf. Note that after each turn, you'll have to press "X" to access the menu and choose END TURN, which is the last option of the five selections that appear on the menu..

» There is no voice acting in the game, just lots of dialogue backed up by BGM.

» During a FIGHT, Roze attacks and moves automatically without any user control by default. She'll hack away at enemies without any input required from the player. You can watch the HP of the targeted enemy drop on the top of the screen and keep an eye on Roze's HP on the lower left corner of the screen.
