«©NCSX» Set in an alternative universe, Gundam Seed takes place in Cosmic Era Century 70 where the Earth Alliance and ZAFT have been at war for nearly a year. If we were to dwell on past Gundam archetypes, The Earth Alliance is obviously the new Earth Federation and ZAFT are the new "Zeon." New-types are known as Coordinators in this alternate universe and they are the gifted ones who are behind the ZAFT organization.As the story begins, the Alliance has developed five new mobile suits called Gundams on the space colony Heliopolis and hopes to turn the tide of battle and put an end to the war. ZAFT catches wind of the technology and steals four of the five Gundams called Duel Gundam, Buster Gundam, Blitz Gundam and Aegis Gundam. The last mech, Strike Gundam, accidentally goes to a student named Kira Yamato. His rival Aslan Zara pilots the Aegis Gundam and clashes with Kira over the course of the game. Schwag Alert
