«©NCSX» Ultraman Nexus debuted on TV Tokusatsu last year on October 02, 2004 and ignited a new collection of toy figures, merchandising, and another PS2 video game. Monsters from space are threatening the Earth again and it's up to Ultraman Nexus to take them on and stop their threat... dead. Ultraman battles huge creatures and pulls off special attacks and special effects in his crusade against alien invasion. Special moves include mid-air combo attacks, grappling grabs, fire fights, and blazing slashes. Up to 2 players may team up to fight against a creature at once which fills the screen with Ultramen and monsters for some quick and well animated action. There's even shooting action against monsters that appear in the distance where Ultraman moves along the bottom of the screen and fires laser blasts. Once one tires of the fighting, players may also engage a 3-d roaming action game where the player walks around a block and battles creatures that appear. Fifteen characters and monsters from the television series are featured including Nexus Anphans, Nexus Jeunes, Nexus Blue, Dark Faust, Dark Mephisto, Pedreon, Bagbazun, Nosferu, and Grantela.
