In 2001, Falcom released an Ys complete edition on the Japanese PC called Ys Eternal which contained updated versions of Ys I and II. Fans in Japan were rejoicing. As the midway point of 2003 passes, Digicube and Falcom finally bring out a PS2 conversion of the Ys Eternal game which includes a photo gallery, vocals for the characters and a new character with attendant scenario adventure. All this to make the release worthy for fans who already own the PC edition. The limited edition of Ys Eternal includes a set of four bottlecaps and a miniature diorama scene to hold your caps. The bottlecaps are of superb quality with excellent paint jobs, intricate detailing and a sturdy bottlecap base upon which the figures stand. The text on the bottlecap reads: "Ancient Ys Vanished - Ys I-II Eternal Story." We had originally assumed the quality of the bottlecaps would be somewhat iffy but we're impressed and pleased with the quality.
