Three years after the events in Tower of Druaga, Gil continues his adventure in a new dungeon exploration game. Arika handled the development duties for the Nightmare of Druaga and has added a number of systems to enhance the experience. The Real Time Turn System allocates a speed level to all actions that Gil performs and the Another Dungeon System gives alternate dungeon routes to take when exiting main dungeon levels. The action in Nightmare of Druaga moves in stutter-step real-time fashion as opposed to the fluid flow of an adventure such Legend of Zelda. Gil motors along, stops, turns and moves a little more. Attacks are performed in full motion with sword strokes shown in realistic action sequences. View the back cover and screenshots.
