«©NCSX» Similar in theme to the Castle Fantasia games, players take on the role of Yuto Takamine who is a squad leader in command of a trio of gals known as "Spirits." Guide the fighting amazons into tactical battles with the overall goal is conquering neighboring kingdoms before they do their own conquering. Each gal is charged with a role in the party where one gal serves as the primary attacker, another as the defender, and the third as a supporter. Roles may be determined before the start of each campaign. Amidst all the war mongering, Yuto may possibly find romance amongst one of the gals to prove that even in war, there is always time for some loving. The three gals are: Aselia Bluespirit, Espelia Greenspirit, and the fiery Oruphaliru Redspirit. The game is played in interactive sequences as well as action packed battles where an aggressor rushes across the screen and imparts a massive attack on seemingly immobilized enemies. Stats for the characters are shown across the top of the screen along with current roles as designated by an "A," a "D," or an "S." As battles are won by the team, the player's kingdom and sphere of influence grows by accumulating Mana which changes the way that other kingdoms on the map relate to and approach your principality. As Mana increases, new buildings may be built on your lands such as research facilities, Defense Towers which improve attack and defense skills, sacrificial altars, and schools of learning. The PS2 version of the game includes a new campaign designed exclusively for the console port and 50 new CG scenes that have been added to the interaction portion of the game for added value. Along with the regular edition of the game, NCS also stocks the Limited Edition which includes the following bonus items: 1) Original Drama CD made exclusively for the Limited Edition set
