Update: July 20, 2005 «©NCSX» In 1955, Nakamura Manufacturing Ltd sprang to life with approximately US$3000 in capital stock and a dream. The company's first job was the installation of a pair of mechanical rocking horse rides on the roof of a department store in Yokohama. The company which would eventually transform into Namco had officially entered the amusement machine business. 50 years later, Namco's empire spans amusement parks, arcade halls, a phenomenon known as Taiko no Tatsujin, and another one called Tekken. The company also wields a kung-fu grip on bleeding edge console software development with its various franchises. To celebrate its ascension to the top of the food chain, Namco releases a 50th Anniversary collection of its Playstation console hits along with museum gallery and cinemas as follows: • Ace Combat 2 • Klonoa Door to Phantomile • Mr Driller • Ridge Racer • Tekken View the back cover and screenshots.
