Update: March 2, 2006 «©NCSX» Seven years after the events in Gundam: Federation vs Zeon, the combatant names have changed but the encounters on land and in space remain pretty much the same. Seasoned Gundam drivers will find the routine familiar - select your Gundam machines and enter an arena where sword attacks, gunfire and long range blasting all factor in the fray. A lock-on targeting marker may be spotted onto quarry if it is close enough and close-range combos deliver the coup-de-grace on faltering foes. When enemy soldiers rotate out of sight, a "Caution" arrow appears to warn a player of where danger may be lurking. A number of mecha from both sides may be found in the game including the Gundam RX-78-2, RX-178 Gundam Mk. II, MSA-005 Methuss (transformable mobile suit), RMS-117 Galbaldy Beta, the AMX-004 Qubeley, and the MS-06F Zaku II. One of the weirder mech designs may also be unlocked in the game - the NRX-055 Bound Doc, which looks like a spiky knight wearing a dress. Three Bound Docs were used by Titan Newtypes to bombastic effect against the AEUG during the Gryps War. AEUG vs Titans offers up-to-four-player online gaming but the charges are fairly steep at Y900/mo for broadband access and a per-minute rate for dialup gamers.
