Backyard Football teams up with the NFL to bring kid versions of the best tackling, passing, and running pros. You can choose from all 32 NFL teams or create your own with custom team names and uniforms. Once your team is ready, you'll pick a playing field, call the plays, and direct all the action in single games or an entire season. The game also features 30 backyard kids, a stat tracker in season play, and multiple camera angles.NCS Game Notes
* A droll girl calls herself mad dog in the intro to the game. * A crooked city appears in the intro before a Quickplay match. The first match takes place on a weird looking football field that is surrounded by debris in a junkyard. The players are munchkin kids who dress in team colors and rickety helmets. * Before each match, gamers may set the Field Rules for the size of the arena, toggle kicking, set first downs, and win conditions. A playbook is shown on the right of the screen before each break for players to select * The gameplay is enjoyable with easy plays and simple controls to maneuver the wee players on screen. The athletes ramble off little sayings while two announcers run down the play by play with commentary of the action. * Players may use special powers during the game include transforming into a monster to knock away defenders for an easy touchdown. * Since the kids are basically small and ungainly, they sort of waddle down the field when running for a pass and don't have much power or speed.
