Hailing from the new Sonic X anime which debuted in Japan this April of 2003, Sega's new set of Sonic X figures feature "Kubrick-esque" styling with each character displaying a smirk. The two hedgehogs and one echidna appear devious with their smirks but Tails' countenance conveys sheepish. Each figure measures 2.75" tall (7cm) with chiseled detailing and articulated limbs which move to and fro for kinetic posturing purposes. The Sonic X anime bowed on April 6 at 8:30AM on TV Tokyo. Sonic and friends are teleported to Earth and meet up with two boys named Chris and Danny. An American localization of the series will begin in the fall of 2003 which should coincide with the release of these Sonic X toys.
