Bandai digs deep into the past and revives two classic 8-bit Famicom Saint Seiya adventure games by dressing them up in pretty new graphics and throwing in short cinematic sequences. Remixing the sound effects and music to bring them up to speed with current standards also helps to update the two games. Based on the manga by Masami Kurumada, Saint Seiya (soon to be known in the USA as Knights of the Zodiac) features standard adventure game action which follows the story of the Bronze Knight Seiya who leads a team of knights against the evil personages of the Black Knight and Phoenix. The background in the two games is taken from the popular animated series and combat is of the turn-based, flick-action variety.
