«©NCSX» Adol and Dogi are walking through the marketplace when they spy a fortuneteller who is giving out readings. Dogi decides to get his fortune told but in the midst of the reading, the fortune teller's crystal ball explodes and she shrieks that a great calamity is coming. Shaken, Adol and Dogi return to Dogi's village of Redmont where they hear reports of monsters invading the mine. Anxious to rescue the trapped village elder, players take control of Adol and guide him through the caverns while slashing away at scuttling creatures.... Nearly two decades after Ys original release on the Japanese PC (1987), Adol Christian's side-scrolling action-adventure enjoys another re-release. The story has some extras thrown in to freshen up the adventure and the graphics are completely redone in snazzy detail but Adol is still of small stature against the looming game world...just like in the original game and the other remakes.
