Update: May 25, 2005 «©NCSX» A message in a bottle requests Adol's presence in the land of Selceta where monsters are running rampant. Stout of heart and always ready for adventure, Adol ventures out once again in a remake of Ys IV (originally released on the Super Famicom circa November 1993) where the red-haired hero stomps around in an isometric world and attacks in real time. Whereas the original game had Adol running into enemies with a sword in order to attack, the remake has Adol slashing and slicing with aplomb. Different swords are available which have various attack powers and multiple hits may be struck in quick succession when facing creatures in the wild. Adol may use blue crystals for protection which he throws up, splits with a sword, and then watches them rotate around himslef to provide a protective shield against rambling enemies. Crystals may also be tossed out and then poked at with your sword against an enemy for big damage. Finally, crystals may be thrown on the ground and then pushed against rocks or items to destroy them. View the back cover and screenshots. Jan Code: 4988611205082 This document is ©NCSX 2005.
