The flight of the planes and the dog fighting action runs fast and hot as pilots struggle to keep up with zooming hostiles and situations at hand. As the story goes, theaters of conflict are popping up all over the world and only a team of fighter pilots can quell the firestorms.Modes in the game include:
SCENARIO / Travel to hot spots around the globe and engage in aerial combat that's backed by a storyline and conflict situations.
CHALLENGE / Missions with simple objectives such as blasting enemies.
MULTIPLAY / Head to head action in Arena and Versus modes (online) Over 30 fighter jets are featured in the game including the F-15J, F/A-18C, F-14B, F-16C, F-22A, F-117A Nighthawk, A-10, F/A-18E Super Hornet, F-35, Su-25, and the F-2A. While no one at NCS has ever flown an F-22A or a Super Hornet, the virtual representations of both planes apparently behave as they would in real life. We'll accept Taito's word at face value.
