Continuing the popular series of Smallest Transformers toys, Takara ships a new set dubbed CVS Wave 2.5 which is only being sold in Japanese retail shops. Big distributors and vendors get nothing. The new wave features Hot Rodimus, Jazz, Megatron, Optimus Prime, Soundwave, and Starscream as the common ratio figures. Similar to all previous sets in the Smallest series, there are two secret chase robots packaged randomly in the factory sealed cases. There are 8 random figures inside each case. Every toy ships in vehicle form but may be morphed and formed into robots with a few tucks, twists, and flips. In the case of Soundwave, the purple tinged bot ships in cassette form. Each toy also includes a tech trading card which is placed underneath the plastic receptacle which holds the toy. Preorders are shipping today and new orders are welcome while supplies last.
