Description
«©NCSX» Tomytec releases a series of peg toys where one creates recognizable video game characters by using hundreds of pegs that are plugged into a board. For example, the Dig Dug set includes 520 pegs of various colors which are arranged to create Dig Dug, Pooka, or a snaggle-toothed Fygar. There's also a Pac-Man set which also includes 520 pegs to create Pac, Inky, or Blinky. Instructions are included with each set to create other characters from popular games of yesteryear.

Each Dot-Pin set includes a few hundred pegs of different colors and two pegboards to create your designs on. We're experimenting with the pegs to create other characters such as Ms Pac-Man (red lips are her distinguising characteristic), Q*Bert, Popeye, and others.

Five styles are in stock:

1) Dig Dug
2) Luigi
3) Mario
4) Pac-Man
5) Space Invaders

View the five Dot-Pin sets on the main NCS website.

View the back covers of every Dot Pin toy which shows the various pieces of artwork that one may create with the pins.

This item is also known as the ".S" series or "Dots" from Tomy but that branding isn't conducive to merchandising or search engine foraging.

Bizartist (1): Coolest... Toy... Ever
Oh man, these things are cool. I've got about 6 of these sets so far. 2 each of Mario, Luigi, and Pac Man sets. The compulsion to collect tons of these sets and create my own NES "screenshots" is becoming a overwhelming. I wonder how many sets that would take? Oh yeah, TomyTec just released their first ZELDA set!!!! Must have it. National Console Support, please acquire these new sets!
MercuryPDX (1): Cute fun.
Picked up the Dig-Dug, Pac Man, and Space Invaders sets and love em. Built and rebuilt several different characters, and started making some on my own.
