«©NCSX» Twenty years ago, Bub and Bob debuted in Taito's Bubble Bobble arcade game where the two dragons blew bubbles and trapped monsters. Traveling through 100 levels in the Cave of Monsters, the squat yet formidable heroes were on a mission to save their sweethearts. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Bubble Bobble, Tomy and Taito ship miniature versions of Tomytec's popular dot-pin toys which feature characters from Bubble Bobble. Although only Bub and Bob are shown on the package covers, the colored pegs may be used to create creatures such as Monsta (aka Blubba), Hidegon (aka Incendo), Mighta (aka Stoner) and Drunk (aka Gromit) among others. The Bubble Bobble miniature Dots toy features a single 7cm or 2.75" tall pegboard with a resolution of 16 x 16 and an assortment of colored pegs which are pushed into the board to create beloved video game heroes and their antagonists.
