An average high student student is spirited once again to Heian era Japan where she teams up with friendly male heroes to defend the capital of Kyoto against malcontents. As the heroine progresses through the game with her friends, an affinity may develop between them which helps enhance battle cohesiveness during encounters. Love may also blossom with one of her handlers. New to the PSP version of the game is a gallery mode which gathers together important scenes from the adventure once they have been completed.
