As the story goes, the protagonist is an average high school student who helps his girlfriend Kumiko borrow a book from the library. Kumiko shares the same interests with a devil summoner named Sid Davis who also wants to read about Japan's ancient history at any cost. When demons are about to kill the high school student, the nattily dressed Kyouji Kuzunoha of the Kuzonoha Detective Agency saves him. However Sid Davis is a persistent man and manages to kill both the high school student and Kyouji. By divine or perhaps demonic intervention, the spirit of the student enters Kyouji's lifeless body and re-animates him once again. As a reborn private detective and devil summoner, team up with partner Rei Reihou and save Kumiko from the clutches of Sid Davis. Summon loyal demons to your side and use them in battle against opposing enemies.New to the PSP version is a demon encyclopedia, screen mode toggle, a new dungeon, and the ability to save progress at any point in the game.
