Update: March 24, 2006 «©NCSX» A thousand years from now, an archaeologist will dig up a crusty PSP and a copy of SSM 2nd Evolution. Jostling with the PSP for about 15 minutes, she manages to power it up and plays a game or two. For the purpose of our story, she reads Japanese as well as every other ancient language. After playing three games, she thinks to herself, "Ancient China was a harsh place. People were killing each other like dogs." Step into the battlefields of old China once again with over 300 powerful generals and their marauding armies. The number of stages to conquer has also been bumped up over the first PSP Shin Sangoku Musou game by roughly double for a lengthier gaming experience. Depending on how a stage is played, the routes of subsequent stages fork and diverge according to a general's actions and choices. As mission conditions and targets are met, new officers may be gained to join your ranks and fight on your side. Koei touts a new horse customization system where steeds may be modified and sculpted to your preference. Maybe you prefer a chestnut colored horse over a black stallion - the horse customization system allows for color changes as well as variable horse parts. A welcome addition to SSM 2nd Evolution is the 4-player wireless option which allows for cooperative play where generals may conspire together to dominate enemy forces.
