«©NCSX» The boys of summer return to the PSP baseball diamond with a full complement of 2006 team data, stats, and 2007 team rosters. As the new season kicks off, the release of the latest Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball arrives in time for fans to join in the action. The eight game modes include Pennant where players forge through an entire season's worth of 144 ball games in a bid to participate in the Fall Classic. There's also a Pawapro Communication Mode where who players link up for head-to-head action and the a la carte Pawapota Mode which features game modes that won't require a large time investment. A PoTaCa Mode allows players to collect hundreds of baseball cards which feature photographs, birthdates, and data on ballplayers playing in the Japanese big leagues. Four other modes round out the offerings on the main menu as follows:Fighting Mode: Select a team and play a quick exhibition game. A rookie mode is selectable for inexperienced newbies. For spectators, a "watch" mode pits two COM-controlled teams against each other and all you have to do is sit back and watch the game play out. Arrangement Mode: Build a team from the ground up and mix all of the players you want in one squad. Once assembled, pit them against other squads. Team colors, uniforms, and equipment may be customized to one's preferences. Data Collection: View game records, data, and saved season stats for every game mode that is played. Tune Creation: Create your own fight song or jingle for your team. A number of samples are included for use in your own song if so desired.
