«©NCSX» Adol Christian and his faithful blue-haired friend Dogi are back in a brand new action-adventure that's a PSP exclusive. For now, at least. The game features a 3D world where Adol and company travel, explore, and battle enemy forces. Depending on the type of enemy, players can switch between active party members to combat foes in real-time. Special EX skills may be acquired to enhance the heroes' battlefield efficiency. Combat takes place in close quarters where Adol's party throws out melee attacks mixed with magic blasts to illuminate the screen with visual fireworks. The adventure starts in the prosperous port city of Altago which is an important trade destination. However, Altago is a tale of two cities - there's the urban area with the palace, the trading docks, and the military port but there's also an old part of town filled with shanties, poor folk, orphans who wander the streets, and the criminal element. Surrounding areas and villages that Adol may visit include Shannoa, Segram, Kylos, and Edona which are filled with unique personalities to interact with. NCS has also imported the Limited Edition of the game which includes a bonus Drama CD which features a voice acted episode that transitions the storyline from Ys 6 to Ys 7 along with the aforementioned Soundtrack CD + booklet.
