NCS Product Synopsis Update: June 30, 2005 «©NCSX» The PSP homebrew scene is still relatively young but interesting programs have been released to give gamers a taste of the talent pool out there. Somewhat contributing to homebrew gaming, From Software releases Adventure Player for the PSP which allows anyone to create a digital novel type game or any other type of flick-screen adventure where text, graphics, and sound are mixed together for a static experience. You won't be able to craft the next platformer or shooter but you will be able to create a game that's based on your recent trip to the Caymans. Your digital photographs serve as the backgrounds and the mystery is to find where you left your wallet. The possibilities are endless. Three horror games are included in the Adventure Player UMD, one of which is the memorable Echo Night adventure from the original Playstation. From Software promises more adventures on their Adventure Player website for download so that gamers may share what other producers are creating. The Adventure Player project consists of a PC program that may be downloaded from From Software and the PSP software. Minimum requirements of the PC program are as follows: Windows XP/2000 128MB Ram 90MB Hard drive space Pentium III @ 600MHz USB port Jan Code: 4949776313012 View the back cover and screenshots.
