Update: November 23, 2005 ŠNCS: Ever since Marvelous acquired Victor, the Harvest Moon franchise has been hitting various consoles and handhelds at a quicker pace. The simple life finally reaches the capable confines of the Playstation Portable but it's nothing new. No, it's actually quite old - the original Harvest Moon game from the Playstation and the "For Girls" version of the original game are collected on one UMD for fans to enjoy. As the story goes, the protagonist Jack spent a summer of his youth at grandpa's farm where he tried to sit on a cow, terrorized chickens, and played around the farm. Jack also met a girl back in those days and the two got along like peas and carrots. Jack made a promise to her that he would return one day. A decade passes and Jack has grown into a strapping young munchkin. When gramps croaks, Jack inherits the farm which has since become run down and way past its prime. Return to Mineral Town and restore the farm to its former glory and attempt eke out a living by working the land. A three year time limit is granted to Jack to put things right. Progress is slow at first but as Jack befriends Harvest Sprites and procures better tools, life becomes a lot easier and he'll eventually have some free time to hunt for the girl from his youth.
