Update: May 1, 2006 «©NCSX» The Limited Edition of Evangelion 2 includes the following bonus UMD-Videos:» Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth » Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion Both movie UMDs are packaged inside a single PSP case and slipped into a decorative library-ready binder along with a copy of the game. Since Gainax has stated that the Evangelion movies won't be released by themselves, the Evangelion 2 Memorial Box is the only way to obtain the movies and view them on a PSP. That is, through the proper channels and without ripping/torrenting/scheming. The pace of the game is deliberate where every step is seemingly measured but the characters may run if so desired to rush from point to point. Voice actors provide the speech and although it's been a few years since NCS team have collectively viewed an Evangelion movie or episode on the premises, Shinji's voice actor sounds suspiciously feminine... and he giggles like a girl. He was always meek but this might be pushing it. Bandai touts new voice snippets which were recorded exclusively for the PSP game. Along with interactive interplay, Evangelion 2 features a battle system where mech handlers glide into an EVA and battle Apostles when they manifest themselves. The fighting portion of the game allows for full control of the EVA which is tethered to a power source but the cord may be severed to allow for freedom of movement for a limited amount of time.
