«©NCSX» Mai-Hime Bakuretsu was released on the PSP a mere 2 months ago but Sunrise releases a sequel in rapid fire sequence. Whereas Bakuretsu covered the events between episodes 1-16 of the Mai-Hime television animation series, Senretsu covers the dramatic events, the Hime star, and new characters from episode 17 to 26. Mai-Hime Senretsu features 3D cel-shaded fighting where the cast of characters use conventional attacks as well as their HiME powers to battle each other in fast-paced matches. In the Story Mode of the game, the events of the animation series spool off after bouts are fought by way of cinematic sequences. Watch as crisp animation relays the story of Mai-Hime as the game rolls to an explosive conclusion. Sunrise added new character animations that play before and after each fight to show each gals personality. A secret character in Mai Hime Senretsu is Arika Yumemiya who serves as the bridge between the final episode of Mai-Hime and the new series, Mai Otome. New to the game is a Battle Royale Mode where players select a fighter from the 13 available champions and fight each of the other characters in sequence. Senretsu also features a costume mode where up to 70 outfits may be won by the girls and a 3D character model viewer allows gamers to properly inspect each girl.
