* The games starts off with a shimmering blue smoky pattern before the camera enters the main hall of Hogwarts.

* At the outset of the game, players may choose Harry, Hermione, or Ron as the protagonist. Ron looks like Potsie from the Happy Days television show.

* The intro to the game talks about the Riddle House and how the three friends travel to the Qudditch World match. An attack by Voldemort leads to the three friends trying to exit from the campsite... which is now on fire and explosions are rocking it. Frog-like creatures called Dugbogs attack but pressing "X" will unleash a magical blast to knock them out of the way.

* At one point in the first level, everyone (along with Ron's father) has to cast leviosa (press SQUARE) at an enormous boulder that's blocking the way. More boulders will block the pathways out and the same procedure must be followed to lift them out of the way. Fallen trees and rock slides provide additional hardship over the course of the level. During the exodus, pick up blue beans to replenish magic levels. Once they reach the Portkey, the level ends and the game proper begins.

* Hogwart's plays host to the tri-wizard tournament. WTF? Madeye Moody teaches the three friends defense against the dark arts by lifting Dugbogs using the "SQUARE" button. Once lifted, smash them against the walls by swinging them around with the L-analog pad. Rocks may also be lifted and then dropped on the Dugbogs to destroy them. In the next section, learn how to attract rewards to you by holding the "TRIANGLE" button which makes running after magic beans a thing of the past.

* In the second defense against dark arts lesson, Harry and friends learn out to put our fires by unleashing a torrent of water from their wands, de-flaming salamanders, and busting up fire breathing turrets on the sides of walls.
