Unparalleled Quality and Performance |

| This was my first real investment towards buying an arcade stick for my fighters, and despite having many other options, I decided to give the HORI Real Arcade Pro 3 a try.
Firstly, let me just say that this stick is worth EVERY penny that I paid. Upon laying hands on this baby, I was greeted with a well-weighted piece of hardware. It's not heavy to the point where it'll get uncomfortable if you play it on your lap, but it's not light enough so that it shifts around either. The control panel background sports a very nice carbon fiber look, the back-panel is solid metal with rubber foots to let the stick grip onto flat surfaces, and the sides are finished with a very solid-feeling matte plastic. When you knock on it, you hear virtually no echo. The entire stick feels like a rock. Built strong, and built to last.
On the performance end, American stick users may feel a little unfamiliar with the feel of the joystick as it uses a Japanese ball top as well as a square gate instead of a circular gate like most American arcade players are used to. This is a minor set-back since you get used to it really fast, and personally I feel that the square-gate is better catered towards fighting games such as Street Fighter. All the buttons are light, quick and responsive on the tap, and when tested on Super Street Fighter II Turbo: HD Remix, the stick works like a charm.
Now onto NCSX's service. I reside in Canada, and upon placing my order, the stick arrived at my doorstep within three days. The actual box for the stick was virtually unscathed, the stick itself undisturbed, with no signs of improper handling. In short, the stick came in perfect condition. I am extremely satisfied with NCSX and their product and I would recommend this stick to anybody who's into fighters and are looking for something that is high-performance and built to last.
This stick is it, ladies and gentlemen! |

This Stick is it!!! |

| I just got my HRAPS3 in today and I can't be happier. I'm fairly new to the arcade stick scene, but I'm glad I opted for this instead of the fighting stick 3.
The stick is very weighty and feels solid and sturdy. The Sanwa stick is just like you would imagine one to be (slightly loose, highly responsive, and extremely well built).
The Hori buttons that come stock with it aren't that bad to start off, but if you're an arcade vet then you might want switch them out for official sanwa OBSF-30's if you want the best experience. The Hori buttons are pretty sensitive, but they aren't too keen for piano tapping if you're used to light touches to pull of harder moves or strings more precisely. The moves will most likely register, but the slight mushiness of the button won't really give you a good indication that you pressed it well enough.
If you are the type to hammer on your buttons( ala MVC2) then you will be okay if you don't want to switch them out.
NCSX provided great service and got the stick out to me extremely quickly. I'll definitely come back to this site to shop for any import products I may need. |

A solid stick |

| I received this stick a little while back from NCSX and all I can say is, this is a pretty solid stick. The advantages to this stick is that its built solidly and will last a long while. Since the playstation update that fixed the inability to use this with my other PS2 fighters, there is only one (Maybe two) things that hold it back.
The stick is outfitted with a Sanwa ball type stick and Hori buttons. The stick feels fine but the buttons don't really give the impression that you've actually pressed them down. The base is well made so that you can either mount it on a table and not have it move, or, mount it on your lap.
When first playing with this arcade stick, many people will first feel the difference between the arcade stick at the arcade, and the one you have right now. This can be a pro and a con depending on how you enjoy moving the joystick. The base of the joystick is a square base rather than the circular base( Tekken Arcade style) found in many arcades. With that in mind, it may be harder to pull off Quarter Circles and Half circles. On the plus side, Uppercut motion is pretty easy on this stick.
The only real big problem is the home button located on the stick. This may just be mine but randomly (not often) the home button will press when I didn't press it. On a PS3, this causes the screen to go into the menu mode and completely throws off my rhythm while playing Guilty Gear Accent Core. While its very rare that it happens, it does get annoying.
The bottom line of this arcade stick is that it is solidly built. If you don't mind the square base instead of the circle base, this is a pretty solid buy.
(P.S : Many people still wonder if arcade sticks work with the PS3 while playing PS2 arcade games. With the patch that I have right now, 1.93, it does work. Just to clear some confusion.)
