This game plays a lot like Soul Calibur, but with improved graphics and textures. The animation is fluid and the weapon effects are spectacular. An arcade stick definitely adds to the gameplay. For a fighting game, I spent a lot of time playing this. The edgemaster mode is awesome and the things you can unlock is unbelievable. I would have preferred for some more character costumes, but that's a small thing. I might get the US version when it comes out so I can read the edgemaster story, along with the endings, but even without fully understanding those things, I still had a blast. Overall, an excellent addition to anyone's game collection.
When I got this game, I was really surprised at how the graphics looks. For some reason they looked crisper and sharper than GT3. To complete the entire game itself didn't take too long. But after I finished, I really wanted more. It would probably be best to think of this as part of GT3 and not an entirely independent game. There is no simulation mode and the tuning options are limited. Definitely for those people who just want to test out some crazy cars.
