| I just got my HRAPS3 in today and I can't be happier. I'm fairly new to the arcade stick scene, but I'm glad I opted for this instead of the fighting stick 3.
The stick is very weighty and feels solid and sturdy. The Sanwa stick is just like you would imagine one to be (slightly loose, highly responsive, and extremely well built).
The Hori buttons that come stock with it aren't that bad to start off, but if you're an arcade vet then you might want switch them out for official sanwa OBSF-30's if you want the best experience. The Hori buttons are pretty sensitive, but they aren't too keen for piano tapping if you're used to light touches to pull of harder moves or strings more precisely. The moves will most likely register, but the slight mushiness of the button won't really give you a good indication that you pressed it well enough.
If you are the type to hammer on your buttons( ala MVC2) then you will be okay if you don't want to switch them out.
NCSX provided great service and got the stick out to me extremely quickly. I'll definitely come back to this site to shop for any import products I may need. |
