What can I say, I've been totally overwhelmed by the figure/doll that I've purchased from NCSX. I placed the order on Sunday evening here in the UK so I knew it wouldn't be until the afternoon on Monday for me before the order would be processed. I realised I had made a mistake and accidentally ordered the Kanako doll instead so I contacted customer support and they promptly replied and sorted the mix-up for me. Four days later, I receive a rather large package in the mail which could only be one thing, Naru!!!
The figure itself is huge - guesstimating, it must be about 30cm tall. I collect other vinyl type statues and I have a Nemesis one from Resident Evil, Naru almost rivals him in size which I would have to say is the largest addition to my collection.
The paintjob is superb, even her fingernails have been painted. I personally would have preferred a design closer to her series counterpart rather than her Love Hina Again self. There's something about those jagged lines on her cheeks in the OAVs which I just don't like. Ah well, certainly better than nothing.
The figure comes with a display base, a display arm (which I haven't had to use, Naru slots into the base nicely) and a pair of removeable denim shorts.
Sega have done a fantastic job with the high grade figures and should definitely consider producing moulds for the rest of the gang (I'd love a Mutsumi!). For now though, I've resorted to ordering the Kanako doll - Naru's getting a bit lonely on my bookshelf...
