When websites copy our content, we deem it plagiarism rather than adulation but in the video game world, it's legally acceptable to "look and feel" like something else (precedent: Data East vs Epyx 1988). Konami tests the adage on Dec. 18, 2003 when the company brings together a number of marquee heroes from their camp as well as Hudson and Takara's character roster for a smashing fighting game.The eleven confirmed characters in the game, thus far, include Bomberman, Master Takahashi of Adventure Island fame, Microman (from a popular Takara toy line), Optimus Prime, Peachboy from the Momotaro Densetsu games, a pitcher from Powerful Pro Baseball, Super Doll Rika-chan (also from a popular Takara toy line), Simon Belmont, Takao Kinomiya (aka Tyson Granger in the USA) from Beyblade, Twinbee, and Yugo, the werewolf from Bloody Roar.
